Stevens Park Golf Course is now open and ready for play! Enjoy a totally new golfing experience within the familiar settings of this classic 18-hole course.
The complete redesign of Stevens Park Golf Course in 2011 was executed by Colligan Golf Design, based out of Arlington, Texas and owned by renowned architect, John Colligan; under the design team-lead of Trey Kemp.
Highlights of the project include the complete renovation of all 18 holes with new tee boxes, fairways, greens, and 38 new sand bunkers. The new design features Mini Verde greens, Premier Tif fairways, Tifton 10 rough grass and an expanded short-game practice area. Stevens Park also features a new irrigation system using recycled water with new maintenance facilities including an expanded cart barn. Over 900 new trees were added throughout the golf course along with 2,000 knockout rosebushes to enhance the beauty of the course and compliment the surrounding Kessler Park neighborhood.
The finished redesign offers one of the finest 18-hole public golf courses in Dallas and features 5 sets of tees: Juniors, Ladies, Seniors, Men and Championship play. With its gently rolling tree-lined fairways and beautiful elevation changes, Stevens Park embraces a natural beauty and intimacy all its own. The course, with its scenic beauty amid creeks and elegant views, is one of Dallas' best treasures. This spectacular newly designed course is playable for all levels, yet challenging enough to interest even the lowest handicaps. The course will take you on a tour of every club in your bag, and its freshly designed greens will leave you wishing for another day and one more trip around.
